The babies have grown up a bit now....
Bill (Compton)...
Jessica (Hamby)
Sookie (Stackhouse)
The three babies above were the second hatch last year - Mavis sat on this clutch...of course Dora is missing from this group now. :( Those of you in the know will recognise these names from 'True Blood' - a series we were really in to when the babies were born. :)
Dorienne (the only remaining female from Henrietta's hatch - the boys were all rehomed last year)
Dorienne killing the strawberry!
Bill making it clear he's had enough photos for the day!
On a different note...we've been vegetarian for four months now, and we're feeling physically, emotionally and spiritually better for it. It's been a real struggle trying to avoid the typical cheese and pastry ladened meal choices, mass produced for vegetarians. Thankfully Liz is VERY in to her cook books and we both love experimental recipes...and thanks to this, we've managed to produce some fabulous meals, without the need for excessive amounts of dairy. I HAVE to include a few pictures of our masterpieces...they are just so gorgeous!
Buttery pilaf rice...a gorgeous, tasty little treat.
Potato, chick pea, and cashew curry. Doesn't look as good as it tastes, believe me.
Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni.
Mushroom, caramelised onion & goats cheese pastry. (Ok, so it's pastry, but it's home-made and rare!)
Asparagus, mushroom & broad bean risotto.
I may have posted some of these meals before...but they're worth a mention twice. I'm currently trying to build our own website, and plan on adding some veggie recipes there. I have picked up lots of recipes from my 'grape' friends, and think it's only right to give a little back! :) Ok, so there isn't a bit of meat in sight, but hopefully someone will enjoy them.
Davey & Liz cuddling, as usual.
(if you can think of a suitable caption for this please let me know....it definitely deserves one, don't you think?)
Plunkett...relaxing!
Once again...Luka, Harvey and Macleane were unavailable for a photo shoot this week...but they will make time for us at some point in the near future.
